Marina Sagona (b. 1967) is an Italian-American artist working in a variety of media whose practice revolves around the concept of archetypes and identity. She studied Art History in Rome and also worked for many years as an illustrator for publications such as The New Yorker and the New York Times. In 1995 she moved to New York City where she lives and works.

Marina Sagona is the recipient of the 2017 Strategic 50 Award and of the 2019 Domus Artist Residency in Galatina, Italy.

In 2014 she co-curated the exhibition “Dante Ferretti: Design and Construction for the Cinema” at MoMA.
